State Level Students Seminar, Organised by Modern College, 25th April, 2024

Three students from Baptist College, Kohima attended the State Level Students Seminar organised by the Department of History, Modern College, Piphema on 25^th April, 2024 under the theme “Rethinking Naga History Beyond Tradition.” The Students who presented papers were:

1. Mr Erite T. Mero, Department of History, 6^th Semester,

Sechü Campus – “The Chakhesang Naga Customary Law and Practices.”

2. Thejavinuo Nipu, Department of History, 6^th Semester,

Sechü Campus – “Exploring the Informal Education System of the Tenyimia Naga”

3. Diezenuo Chüzho, Department of English, 6^th Semester,

Kohima Campus – “Cutural Attires: Significance & Cross Cultural Similarities Among the Chakhesang Nagas and the Angami Nagas.”

Her paper was adjudged the best paper and was awarded the Certificate of the Best Paper presenter.
