College Regulations

  1. A student on joining the college is directly responsible to the Principal.
  2. Insubordination to the college authority or misconduct may lead to expulsion.
  3. Drunkenness from alcohol/drugs in the College is strictly prohibited.
  4. Damage to college property is to be compensated for by the student concerned.
  5. Attendance at lectures is compulsory. A student whose attendance is not satisfactory may have his/her name struck off from the roll or detained from writing his/her examination. Nagaland University prescribes a minimum of attendance in class. This will be strictly enforced.
  6. The college follows an examination pattern prescribed by Nagaland University.
  7. Leave of absence of any kind without any genuine reason will not be granted to students during class tests/examinations. This includes sick leave.
  8. Identity Card is issued to every student of Baptist College. Students are required to produce it whenever asked for by the college authority.
  9. All students are to compulsorily wear full uniform on the assigned days.
  10. A student whose parents are not in Kohima or Sechü-Zubza must have a proper local guardian in Kohima or Sechü-Zubza whichever is applicable.
  11. The college reserves the right to ask a student to leave the college on grounds of unsatisfactory academic progress, irregular attendance at classes, an act of indiscipline, application of unfair means in any examination or non-payment of college fees in time.
  12. All Christian students are expected to attend the weekly devotional service conducted for every class/semester.
  13. No Society/Union can be formed in the college without the permission of the Principal, nor shall any person be invited to address a meeting in the college without prior permission from the Principal.
  14. Baptist College does not organize/sponsor any kind of picnic. As such, the college authority will have no involvement nor own any responsibility in this matter.
  15. All students of Baptist College are expected to co-operate /participate in games, sports, cultural and literary activities conducted by the various committees/clubs of the college.
  16. Use of mobile phones during class hours and tests/exams is strictly prohibited. Defaulters will be penalized.
