23 Students from Baptist College Represent Nagaland in the Inter-State Youth Exchange Program, 23rd–25th July 2025

The Inter-State Youth Exchange Program, held at Kurukshetra University, Haryana, from 23rd to 25th July 2025 under the banner Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, saw the participation of 23 students and one Assistant Professor from Baptist College, Kohima, along with a Nodal Officer from the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, representing the state of Nagaland.

The inaugural ceremony featured a vibrant parade of contingents in traditional and cultural attire, reflecting the rich diversity of states and union territories across India. The three-day program included activities such as declamation sessions where participants highlighted their state’s culture, traditions, and achievements, as well as folk song and dance performances showcasing regional heritage. The program concluded with a cultural tour on 26th July, followed by the return journey on 27th July.

The event successfully facilitated cultural exchange and promoted inter-state understanding, fulfilling its objective of fostering unity and appreciation of India’s diverse cultural heritage. The participation of Baptist College students and faculty, alongside the Nodal Officer, made the program a memorable and enriching experience with a lasting impact on strengthening cultural bonds.Day to Day Programme
