Rural Visit to Khonoma Village
The Department of Sociology, Baptist College Kohima visited Khonoma Village on 1st March, 2025 as part of the Departmental activity. The rural visit emphasised on exploring socio-economic backgrounds of the village, historically significant places and culturally relevant traditions of the village like the G. H. Damant Memorial, Forts, Morungs, Feast of Merits, Paddy fields, Terhoutsiese etc. Altogether 59 students of B.A 6th Semester along with the faculties from the department visited the village.
