The Student Council Election for the tenure 2025-2026 was held on 11th April 2025 at Rivenburgs Memorial Hall with Mr. Videvi Tholre, Games and Sports Secretary, Student Council as the chairperson of the program. A short briefing on the mode of conduct for election procedure was done by Mr Kevizhalhou Medom, Chief Election commissioner, Student Council followed by election hour where the nominated candidates gave out their speech and along with it the vote were taken accordingly. A short speech was given by Ms. Asola Jamir, Member of Student Council. In her speech, she encouraged the students about leadership and how a leader should be by being punctual, resilience, patient etc.
The program continued with declaration of the victorious candidates which was followed by self introduction and oath taking by the new Student Council Team. The newly elected President, Mr. Daniel Konyak gave a hearty speech on his victory for the post and his anticipation to work with the new elected team.
A congratulatory note by Ms. Kihitoli A. Kiho, President, Student Council where she welcomed the new members with gratitude and appreciation of her time within the council during her tenure.
The program ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Limatemjen Tzüdir, General Secretary, Student Council.Council election
