The Skill Development Cell of Baptist College, Kohima and Sechü organised a one day sales on the theme “MERCH BCK”, on the 19th of October, 2024 at both the campus.
The sales started at 10 AM in the college premises. The activity was conducted focusing on monetising the skills which was taught to them on various activities organised by the Skill Development Cell so far. The Cell had previously conducted activity on teaching students crafts like bamboo crafting, crocheting, knitting, paper cutting, T-shirt and mask painting and also pickle making and baking.
All together twenty-four (24) stalls were set up in Kohima Campus .Items included phone charms, crochet, bookmark, dream catcher, accessories, meat pickles, Pani puri, Pakora , Momo, Chow and Tea. In Sechu campus 5 stalls were set up which sold items like fresh vegetables, galho, pani puri, Roselle tea, pickle, fermented bamboo shoot, dry fruits and potted flower pots.
