The Village Adoption Committee ,Baptist College Kohima, organized a significant social work at Kiruphema Bawe Village on April 27, 2024. The social work was initiated with objectives to engage students in community services; to help foster a sense of social responsibility; to address the needs of Kiruphema Bawe village and contribute to its development and to strengthen the bond between the college and the local community. The event witnessed active participation from the committee members and instilled a sense of unity and collaboration towards community development. The activity included clearing of the village drainage, cleaning the streets , public areas and the surroundings of the Village Council Hall. Overall there were 24 participants , inclusive of committee members and volunteers. The activity commenced at 10:00 am and concluded at 2:00 pm. The Social work was a success as it not only addressed the immediate needs of the community but also laid the foundation for long-term collaboration and development.
