The students of B.A 6th Semester, Department of Political Science, Baptist College, Kohima and Sechü campus visited the 4th session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Session on 1st March, 2024 at the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Kohima, Nagaland. The students were divided into Two (2) groups and attended the morning and afternoon session.
The morning session of the Nagaland Legislative Session started with the MLAs of various departments responding to several questions raised by the members of the House regarding the status of the Foothill Road project and the coal mining. The afternoon session deliberated on the issues of public importance; the Indian Government decision to fence along the Indo-Myanmar border and the Assam Healing (Prevention of Evil) Practices Bill 2024.
Altogether, 88 students along with Mr. L.Thsidelong Sangtam, HoD, Department of Political Science, Mr. Neisengulie Assistant Professor and Ms. Naro, Assistant Professor attended the 14th Nagaland Legislative Session.
