Poetry Symposium & Reading Session was organised by the Department of English on 11th April, 2023 at 10.00 AM – 11.00 AM in Rivenburgs Memorial Chapel. The programme was attended by the students of English Department from 2nd, 4th & 6th Semesters respectively along with the department lecturers. The session was chaired by Ms. Asola C. Jamir, Assistant Professor, Department of English. The opening prayer was pronounced by Dr. Enünü Sale, Assistant Professor, Department of English. The remark on the event was delivered by Dr. Sentinaro, Head, Department of English. Ms. Vishü Rita Krocha, a poet, journalist and publisher, guest speaker shared her perspective on poetry. Ms. Chimshe Lam enthralled the audience with her song in poetry, “She Walks in Beauty” by Lord Byron. It was then followed by poetry reading. The program came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Tsenbeni Assistant Professor, Department of English, followed by Photo Session.
