Panel Discussion on Leadership Development organized by IQAC, Baptist College, Kohima, 9th April, 2026

IQAC, Baptist College Kohima, organised a Panel Discussion on Leadership Development on 9th April, 2026 at  Rivenburgs Memorial Chapel,  for the  B.A & B.Com 6th students themed “Shaping Leaders for Society:  Values,Vision and Service.” Avelu Ruho, Joint Secretary,School Education, Govt. of Nagaland, Neikepekho Shosahie, Associate Director,YouthNet, Rev. Keviyiekielie Linyü, Pastor, Ebenezer Baptist Church and Kepozo Kapuh, Former College Ambassador, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama were  the panelists.The discussion was moderated by Seyiesilie Vüprü, Asst.Coordinator, IQAC which centered  on leadership and its fundamental principles, work ethics, prevailing societal ideologies, and the significance of having ideal role models. Neikepekho Shosahie stressed on the importance of developing integrity and humility when discussing the values of leadership. Regarding the problems facing the generation, Rev. Linyü believes that one of the biggest concerns is the absence of role models for young people. Kepozo Kapuh elaborated on the significance of critical thinking while pointing out how toxic ideologies can corrupt individuals who have the potential to become leaders. In her closing statement, Avelu Ruho advised the students that they shouldn’t be impacted by criticism for doing the right thing.

The program was chaired by Dr. Sentinaro, Coordinator,IQAC, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Enünü Sale, Asst. Coordinator, IQAC.
