Dr. Tsenbeni, Asst. Professor & HoD, Department of English and Mrs. Zhangukhono, Asst. Professor, Department of Sociology attended One Day Workshop on ” Essentials of Swayam” on the 21st of November 2024 at Lumami, Nagaland University. The programme was organised by Swayam Cell, Nagaland University for it’s affiliated colleges.
The workshop commenced with an introductory session in which Dr. Mayur Mausoom Phukan, Nodal officer/ Coordinator Swayam Cell, Nagaland University spoke on the Essentials of Swayam, courses, objectives and advantages of taking courses on Swayam. This was followed by a hands-on training on ABC i.d creation and Swayam course selection with reasearch scholars of the department of Zoology Mr. Parthasarathy Sudharsan and Mr. Shisak Sharma as the resource persons. In the third session, Dr. Giridharan Bupesh, from the department of Forestry spoke on the process of credit transfer and rationalisation and eligibility for the same and steps for credit transfer. In the concluding session, an awareness talk on NPTEL was delivered by Mr. S.S Das, Senior Manager, National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) Chennai. The one day programme which commenced at 10:30 AM concluded at 2:00 PM.
