One Day Talk on “Judicious use of AI in Academia for Student Learning” organised by IQAC in collaboration with YouthNet and Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship, 6th March, 2026

One Day Talk on “Judicious Use of AI in Academia for Student Learning”, organised by IQAC in collaboration with YouthNet and Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship was held on 6th March, 2026 in Rivenburgs Memorial Chapel with Mr. Dieze Khamo, Program Associate, Entrepreneurship, YouthNet as the Resource Person. Mr. Khamo stated that while AI can be used in productive ways in academia, one should be cautious of becoming overly dependent as it could jeopardize academic integrity. He also emphasized on how AI can be harnessed in entrepreneurship, citing examples of branding, promoting visibility of innovations, and so on. Mr. Khamo also discussed the issue of AI taking jobs, asserting that Green businesses are unreplaceable.

Dr. Sentinaro, Coordinator, IQAC delivered the welcome note. She commented on the objective of the program, which is to help students understand the possibilities as well as the ethical responsibilities that come with the use of AI, and how AI should never replace critical thinking, originality, and intellectual effort.
