The Department of History, Kohima and Sechü Campus, organized an inter-semester competition on September 27, 2024, featuring narration of historical events and mono-acting on historical personalities. Hosted by Dr. Visetonu Natso,Asst. Professor, History the event began with a prayer by Mr. K. Peter Maram, Asst. Professor, Department of History and remarks on the event by Mr. Asilie Rürhia, HoD, Department of History.
Ms. Gloria Yimchunger of B.A 5th Semester presented a special number, and the Department of History, Sechü gave a special presentation. Competition winners included Ms. Thejavinuo Nipu (1st position, narration) and Mr. Richard Kikon (1st position, mono-acting), with Ms. Lichanbeni Shitiri and Mr. Suosahie Mere securing second positions. The event concluded with a concluding remark from Dr.Mhabeni Ezung, Asst. Professor, Department of History, Kohima campus.
The event marked a significant milestone in promoting historical knowledge, awareness and academic excellence.
