A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Baptist College, Kohima and TaFMA (Task Force for Music & Arts), Nagaland with Dr. Kewepfuzu Lohe, Interim Principal, Baptist College, Kohima and Dr. Hovithal N. Sothu, Project Director, TaFMA as signatories for both parties respectively on 14th May 2024. Some of the main objectives of the MOU are:
- Promotion of Arts and Music Education
- Skill Development
- Facilitate Collaboration in Developing Interdisciplinary Program
- Foster Joint Research Projects
- Establish Mechanisms for Sharing Resources
- Organize Joint Events, Workshops and Exhibitions
- Enhance Community Engagement
- Create Opportunities for Professional Development
Overall, these objectives aim to strengthen the relationship between the parties, promote interdisciplinary collaborations and enrich the educational experiences of students while fostering cultural enrichment and community engagement.
