Lecture Series Episode 2

‘Lecture Series- Episode 2’, an event of the Department of English, Baptist College, Kohima was organised on the 16th of September, 2023 at Rivenburgs Chapel Hall with Dr. Avinuo Kire, writer & Assistant Professor, Department of English, Kohima College as the resource person who delivered a lecture titled “Fiction as Discovery, Reflection & Response.” Kire, from the standpoint of an indigenous Naga female writer, gave an exposition of how fiction can be a medium to reflect and respond to the environment around us. She shared her personal experiences in her journey as a fiction writer through the process of learning and unlearning that gradually shaped, transformed and helped to develop her writings and works both in style and content. The lecture was followed by discussion and interactive session.
