Thirty (30) RRC members of Baptist College, Kohima attended the Launching of Intensified IEC Campaign at NBCC Convention Centre on 12th August, 2024.

RED RUN

The District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit (DAPCU), Kohima under the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) organized a District Level Marathon Race on 12th of August, 2024 under the tagline: Red Run. The flag off of the race started at 6 A.M from TCP Gate – D Block – Phoolbari – TCP Gate – Classic Island and culminated at Kohima Law College.

Mr. Toka Kiho, RRC member of Baptist College, Kohima from the Department of Sociology, B.A 3rd Semester participated in the marathon, representing the College.

 

LAUNCH OF INTENSIFIED IEC CAMPAIGN

The Nagaland State AIDS Control Society under the aegis of National AIDS Control Organisation, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, launched the Intensified IEC Campaign on 12th of August, 2024 at 10 A.M in the NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima, with Shri. Neiphiu Rio, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland as the guest speaker. The highlights of the program were IEC Exhibition Stalls and Services, Free HIV/Syphilis Counseling and Testing, Interaction with HIV/Drug Users Community, Pledge Signing, and others.

Thirty RRC members from B.A/B.Com. 3rd and 5th Semesters of Baptist College, Kohima attended the launching program.
