The newly constructed additional classrooms was inaugurated and dedicated by Mr. Vipralhou Kesiezie, Chairman, Governing Body on the 11th December 2025, at 10 am at the Conference Hall, Baptist College.
The completion of the classrooms is a much welcomed addition felt by the College, built using the latest technology by the Paragon Firm. As shared by Dr. Kewepfuzu Lohe, Principal, Kohima campus who gave a brief report on the construction work and the finance report, commented on how any significant progress is the output of honest interactions between stakeholders as proven by the newly constructed classrooms.
Mr. Vipralhou Kesiezie shared on the changing realities and warned of the complex time ahead where most workforce are being overtaken by AI and robots in this fast changing world. Thus the urgent need to reconnect with humanity, with faith to reinvent ourselves and guide and prepare the students as teachers to face the challenges in this new age.
The programme was chaired by Ms. Narola Chuba, Vice Principal. Dr. Tsenbeni, HoD, English Department presented a special number and benediction was pronounced by Mr. Tamreimung Chüsi, Chaplain BCK.
