Baptist College, Kohima, organised a felicitation program for the teachers and students on November 12, 2024 at Rivenburgs Memorial Chapel. The event recognised outstanding teachers, students, and administrative staff for their remarkable academic performance and attendance records.
Dr. Sentinaro, IQAC Co-ordinator, addressed the gathering and shared insights on the two best practices adopted by the college, i.e, the establishment of the Cultural Study Centre and performance-based rewards. She emphasised that these practices are pivotal in enhancing efficiency and consistency in delivering high-quality education.
By integrating cultural enrichment and merit-based incentives, the college strives for excellence in academic achievement and institutional growth.
Interim Principal Dr. Kewepfuzu Lohe expressed gratitude to students, teaching, and administrative staff for their commitment and dedication in making the college thrive. He emphasised the significance of small efforts contributing to great achievements, citing “Rome was not built in a day.”
The programme rewarded 22 teaching faculties and 17 administrative staff for 100% attendance. Eight students received awards for 99% and above attendance, and subject toppers were also acknowledged.
The event was chaired by Dr. Tsenbeni, Assistant Professor and HoD, Department of English ; Ms. Alito Swu, Assistant Professor, Department of History, invoked God’s blessings; Mr. Enibemo W. Kikon presented a special number.
