On 17th July 2024, the Eco Green Club organized a successful plantation cum cleanliness drive at Baptist College Sechü campus, starting promptly at 1:40 pm. Altogether thirty one (31) students took part led by Ms. Rüülhou-ü Mere, member, Eco Green Club. This initiative from the eco green club was dedicated to enhancing the campus environment.
Participants engaged in planting a variety of flowers and plants, a vital task was the cleaning and maintenance of flower pots, and tidying the areas in and around the college building. Additionally bamboo waste bins were constructed and placed around the campus. This effort was aimed at promoting sustainable cleanliness practices. Furthermore, Waste segregation was emphasized with the placement of green bins for wet waste and blue bins for dry waste together throughout the college building. The drive concluded at 5:00 PM, after a group photo session and refreshment.
