On 6th April,2024 a career orientation session was held for the students of 4th semester and 6th semester of Baptist College, Kohima at Rivenburgs Memorial Hall. The session was organised by the Alumni Committee Baptist College in collaboration with Mahendra’s Education, Kohima, on the theme ‘Government Sector Competitive Exams’.
The session started at 1:30 pm with Ms. Alito Swu ( Assistant Professor, Department of History & Member, Alumni Committee), followed by a welcome note by Mr. L. Thsidelong Rüdy (HoD, Department of Pol. Science & Convenor, Alumni Committee). The Resource Person was Mr. Biswajyoti Dutta ( NPSC program head @Mahendra’s Education. 7years of teaching experience. Subject of expertise – Geography and Current affairs). His talk mainly focused on three sectors, i.e., Government sector, Private sector and Service sector. Some of the important points which he talked about was a) Syllabus. b) Previous 10 years question papers. c) Booklist. The session ended at 3pm, followed by a photo session and light refreshment.
