In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Women Development Committee, Baptist College Kohima in collaboration with the Department of General Surgery, NIMSR, Kohima conducted an awareness drive from 12th to 15th of October 2026 at both the College campuses (i.e. Kohima and Sechü-Zubza).
The campaign aimed to educate the students and staffs, promote early detection, and dismantle stigmas surrounding breast cancer through Poster campaign and distribution of pamphlet with basic information. Students wore the Pink Ribbon as a way to visibly raise awareness, show solidarity, and promote education about breast health.
