On 5 December 2025, a total of 77 students from Baptist College, Kohima attended the HORNBILL MUSIC FESTIVAL, one of India’s biggest and most celebrated music festivals, as part of the MoU signed with TaFMA. The visit provided the students with an enriching cultural and musical experience. During the event, the students witnessed the performances by several renowned artists, including Yekumi from Israel, Rhythms of the Earth (Samvaad) and Akhanda from Sikkim. Each performance showcased unique music styles, cultural expression and high energy stage presence offering the students a vibrant and memorable evening. The exposure of international and regional artists not only entertained the students but also broadened their understanding of music, culture and global artistic collaboration.
