A Career Guidance Talk was conducted at the college, with distinguished resource persons Mr. Sumit Kumar Singh, Regional Head (North East) at PIBM, Pune Institute of Business Management and Mr. Vijay Raj Agarwala, Chartered Accountant, Finance and Corporate Trainer. The session was attended by students of the 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters of the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program.
Mr. Sumit Kumar Singh provided insights into various career opportunities available to students after graduation, emphasizing the importance of soft skills training. He also highlighted employment prospects in corporate firms, banks, and other financial institutions.
Mr. Vijay Raj Agarwala, drawing from case studies specific to North East India, discussed how students from the region often hesitate to seize available career opportunities despite their potential to excel.
The session was facilitated by external experts and brought to the college as an initiative to enhance students’ career awareness and preparedness.
