The Alumni Association of Baptist College Kohima (BCK) warmly welcomed former students to the much-anticipated Alumni Meet 2025, held at Rivenburgs Memorial Hall. Nearly 40 graduates, representing the batches from 2002 to 2022, gathered at 3:30 p.m. to rekindle old friendships, reminisce about cherished memories, and celebrate their shared legacy.
Mr. Nzanthung Kikon (Batch of 2002), Chaplain of Sazolie College, Kohima, presided over the proceedings as the Leader.Dr. kewepfuzu Lohe, Principal of Baptist College Kohima, opened the program with a heartfelt invocation, invoking blessings on the gathering and setting a reflective and warm tone for the afternoon.
Mr. Chubazen Lkr (2017 Batch), President of the Alumni Association, welcomed attendees by reminding them that the Alumni meet is to celebrate the shared roots and lasting bonds formed at BCK After a spirited introduction round—where old classmates rediscovered familiar faces and forged new connections—Ms. Seyievinuo Chuzho (2016 Batch) lifted the room with her rendition of “A Million Dreams.”
The highlight of the afternoon was a reflective address by former BCK Chaplain, Pastor Kedo Peseyie (2002–2012), who shared insights from the Parable of the Mustard Seed (Matthew 13:31– 32). He expounded on three guiding principles of the Kingdom of God—sowing, growing, and serving selflessly. Emphasizing the value of living with intention and being agents of change, he reminded attendees that even the smallest efforts can lead to meaningful impact and eternal growth. Pastor Peseyie concluded by urging everyone to live purposeful lives, using their gifts to serve others and contribute to society, thereby honouring God. Concluding the formal program, Convenor Mr. L. Thsidelong Sangtam delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to every volunteer, speaker, and attendee for making the afternoon a memorable celebration of fellowship, faith, and service. The Alumni Meet 2025 reaffirmed the enduring bonds forged at Baptist College Kohima and set the stage for future gatherings rooted in shared memories, mutual encouragement, and a spirit of service.
