The Career Guidance and Academic Counselling, Baptist College aims to assist the students who are apprehensive of their career prospects and future life. The Committee helps the students to acquire greater self-awareness and be more well-informed about occupations and professions. It guides the students in the decision-making process whereby, to enable them to choose a career path that is well suited to their interest, values, abilities, requirements, and personality style.
OBJECTIVES OF CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL BAPTIST COLLEGE, KOHIMA AND SECHU CAMPUS
- To act as a guide assisting in the overall development of the students through mutual understanding between the lectures and the students
- To help the students in vocational development through exploration and discovery about themselves, their skills and interest, and the knowledge about the world of work.
- To guide the students in making the proper choice of academic and career course based on their interest and goals.
