OBJECTIVES
- Legal literacy is the elementary knowledge of law and not an expert knowledge of an advocate. It is about awareness of the country’s political set up.
- Legal literacy helps in seeking legal remedies against exploitation and injustice.
- Legal literacy makes us aware of several laws which have been enacted for the welfare protection and security of the citizens.
- It makes us responsible persons of a civil society and a society which is just and orderly, where everyone lives with honour and dignity.
