The Department of Youth Resource and Sports Government of Nagaland in association with
Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) Nagaland organised a beat contest “Battle
of the Bands” for college and Higher Secondary students from all the districts of Nagaland.
Altogether 37 Bands from college and higher secondary schools across the state
participated in the audition round of which 16 were shortlisted for Live round at RCEMPA,
Jotsoma.
‘The Orphic Band’ consisting of five students represented Baptist College, Kohima in the competition.
Renowned artists Moanungsang,Luli and Alobo Naga were the Judges of the competition.
