500 students from Baptist college under the initiative of IQAC, BCK attended the Ticket to Hornbill- India’s Biggest Band Battle, 2024 on invitation, organised by TAFMA at RCEMPA on 21st October

Five Hundred Students (500) from Baptist college under the initiative of IQAC, BCK attended the
Ticket to Hornbill- India’s Biggest Band Battle, 2024 on invitation, organised by TAFMA at
RCEMPA on 21st October. Altogether ten (10) bands participated who performed two (2) songs
each. The Overall winner was Fifth Note from Nagaland who won a cash prize of twenty (20)
lakhs. The students were send as part of the MOU signed with TaFMA, where students get to have a
first hand experience of cultural exposure to diverse musical genres and styles that broaden their
perspectives. These events offer valuable networking opportunities, allowing students to connect
with peers, artists, and industry professionals. Experiencing live performances deepens their
appreciation for music while fostering social skills through interactions with others. Such events can
also inspire creativity, helping students in their artistic pursuits, and strengthen their connection to
the community by supporting local artists and events. Overall, these experiences contribute
significantly to personal growth and enrichment.
