13 Students From Baptist College Attends the 3rd Edition of All Nagaland Open Folk Song & Folk Fusion Competition, Organised by Kekhrie Khrotho & TaFMA, 23rd November, 2024

The 3rd edition of All Nagaland Folk Song and Folk Fusion Competition, organised by Kekhrie Krotho in collaboration with TaFMA, was held on November 23, 2024 at Khuzama Village under the theme ‘Igniting the Past’, with Shri Hovithal Sothu, Project Director, TaFMA, as the Inaugural Guest.

The competition featured 26 groups from across the state competing in three categories: Group Folk Song, Group Folk Fusion, and Solo Folk Fusion. Thirteen (13) Baptist College students from the Yimkhiung Tribe participated in the Group Folk Song Competition. They presented a folk song titled “Kenang lim nü Kejanglim nüthu khi so” which is about the new generation paving the way for future generations.

The competition was judged by Obed Kath (Divine Connection), Azi Nienu (Tetseo Sisters), and Jano Nyekha (Singer and Songwriter)
